The Evidence and Data on Gender and the Environment (EDGE) Research Group is a team of researchers focused on exploring relationships between the environment, gender, and health, with a special focus on water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). Led by Dr. Bethany Caruso and Dr. Sheela Sinharoy, we use rigorous qualitative and quantitative research methods to develop and validate new measures and indicators and to generate evidence that can be used in research, programs, and policy.
